Masquerade is where creative minds come to play. When the Java chat screen finishes loading you are prompted to enter a name to identify yourself in the chat. Pick the name of your favorite historical persona and enter the chat as that person. Be Gengis Khan, Shakespeare, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln... It's up to you. (Greek Gods and mythological greats like the Minotaur, etc. are also acceptable personas. In the theme rooms like The Tombstone Saloon you could be Jesse James, etc.)
THE RULES ARE SIMPLE... YOU MUST USE THE NAME OF A FAMOUS DEAD OR FICTIONAL PERSON AND ACT AS YOU THINK THAT INDIVIDUAL WOULD WHILE ATTENDING A FORMAL BALL. IF ANOTHER PARTICIPANT IS ALREADY USING YOUR PERSONA WHEN YOU ARRIVE, YOU ARE OBLIGATED TO LEAVE AND RETURN AS ANOTHER PERSON.
